The first thing is that your stroller should have removable and washable cloth on it. Your baby is going to throw up, spit up and spill stuff all over your stroller. It is inevitable. Getting a stroller that has removable fabric is a must. You want to make sure that it can be removed easily too. You will be washing it more than you want to.
Another important thing to look for in a stroller is its collapsibility. You want one that is easy to maneuver and can collapse quickly. The last thing you want to be doing is standing in the rain and fighting your stroller. When you are shopping for your stroller, ask the store clerks to show you how to collapse it and open it back up. If it is not as simple as pressing one button, move on.
Storage is a must. You want a stroller that has an area that you can put things in. If you are in the mall, you do not want to have to carry a diaper bag, a purse and your shopping bags.
Another must for your stroller is a canopy. A lot of moms forget that they are going to have their baby in rain and snow. Sometimes it can't be helped. A canopy protects them as you are getting to your car.
Throwing a jacket over them just may not work!!!
The final thing that you should look for in a stroller is its adjustability. Your child will grow and if you do not have a stroller that will grow with them, then you are just going to end up buying another one. Strollers can be lifesavers at times. Make sure you buy one that is worth your money and time.
